The pita problem from poor timeSLOTXOmanagement is a very common problem. Even though we sometimes manage the order of work well, the lights still don't go out. Turns into a fire in our hearts at Burnout or losing our minds to work just because we feel busy but don't have any value in return. Today we invite everyone to try the Eisenhower Matrix table as a guideline for working together.

What is the Eisenhower Matrix?

The Eisenhower Matrix, invented by Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States, is designed to prioritize work through four grids: urgent and important, non-urgent. But important, urgent but not important to less urgent and unimportant tasks.

How to use the Eisenhower Matrix

At the heart of using the Eisenhower Matrix is ??to distinguish between urgent and important so that we can know how our assigned duties should be handled.

Urgent is something that needs immediate attention. It takes a short decision.

The important thing is that you don't have to rush, but you have to do it someday in the future. or deep work that requires analysis and granularity Do it and have long term effects. Including when we are done, we will feel successful.

After that, let's divide the tasks into 4 categories according to each of the fields described, and arrange the existing To do list into different fields. Each of the 4 types of work has different meanings and precautions as well.

urgent + important tasks
It is a very dangerous channel and should be put into this channel as little as possible. Because that means the number of fire jobs you need to deal with quickly. Unfortunately, most people tend to compress their work into this channel simply because of inadequate time management.

Not Urgent + Important
contrary to the first channel This channel should compress the work as much as possible. Because this is the number of jobs that the deadline is still far away. There's no rush, but it should be done to prevent imminent problems. Including this box should include a dream you want to do to set goals for the future, such as learning to drive, reading, exercising, or even finding a girlfriend. (If you're not in a hurry)

Urgent + unimportant
They are small tasks that can be left to others to manage instead. Suitable for people whose business is so tight that they hardly move to rest anywhere. Or for those who want to focus on the main goal and have someone else handle the details instead.

Not urgent + not important
In short, it's a channel for lingering. For putting activities that are not useful for the future, such as plowing faces, surfing the Internet, shining dramas must not control too much

For easier work, today iNN has Eisenhower Matrix distributed to everyone to set on the screen. To categorize and prioritize tasks easier, faster, no more headaches with work. Or send it to your teammates for a more fluid workflow.

At first, it may be difficult to break down tasks into individual fields. But when we successfully sorted our work into all 4 fields of the Eisenhower Matrix, just a little more punctuality and effort. Just this, the pita problem will not bother us anymore. The heart will come back stronger again. Follow healthy articles or other lifestyles at iNN Lifestyle.
