Coming in either white, grey or black any pair will be fairly easy to match with whatever it is you re wearing. All three pairs will come with a mesh base, the only difference in the rest of the shoe is that the white pair comes with leather accents, and the grey and black pair opt to go with suede hits. A tonal sole unit, and a bit of grey appear on the heel counter of all three pairs, while branding hits are placed on the heel, tongue and side panels of the shoe. Coming in two very different tonal offerings, let s go on ahead and take a better look what both Gel Lyte 5s have to offer. Both versions of the Asics Gel Lyte 5 will come constructed out of a leather, suede, and neoprene combination. The first pair comes in a black and dark grey upper contrasted by the minty hit placed on the heel counter/rear end of the midsole. The second pairs comes in bit lighter as it comes in a sandy tan and white offering offset by the yellow accent found on the heel counter/rear end of the midsole. While both options differ from each other, it s a bit hard to choose which pair stands out the most. I guess it all depends on your preference, right? Asics is digging into the vault to bring back a classic for 2016. Descending from the Asics GT line is this Asics GT-Cool Xpress that first appeared back in 1994. This OG colorway that you see above is set to return in this year and features a white suede upper with purple detailing on the outsole, leather side panels and heel. Adding another punch of color are lime accents on the heel, eyelets, by the toe, and on the outsole. If the tongue on this GT-Cool Xpress looks familiar that s because it s the same one that s used on popular Gel Lyte 5. Asics is set to release their latest pack consisting of the Asics Gel
asics gel kayano 22 Respector. Consisting of two tonal versions of the Gel Respector done up in a tonal suede upper, today we take a good look at the Tan colorway offering from the Tonal Pack. The Asics Gel Respector will come in a Tan suede upper construction accompanied by the tonal hits of leather found on the Tiger Stripe branding placed on the side panels. More Asics branding can be found on the tongue and heel of the shoes, while the hits of white found on the midsole and heel counter help create some nice contrast on the shoe. Completing the aesthetics of the shoe are the navy blue hits placed on the lining as well as all the branding hits. Asics has been doing some pretty big things with the Gel Respector as of late as the sleek silhouette was just featured in two different collaborations alongside Concepts: the Concepts x Asics Gel Respector Coca and the Concepts x Asics Gel Respector Black Widow. Kicking things off proper in 2016 is yet another collaboration this time with Spanish sneaker boutique 24 Kilates who will be celebrating their 10th anniversary in the new year. Known as the 24 Kilates x Asics Gel Respector Virgin Extra, this sneaker is inspired one of Spain s top exports, extra virgin olive oil. Dressed in a few different shades of green as well as tan and purple, the colors on this shoe are meant to represent the the colors of raw Arbequina olives before they are cold pressed into olive oil. As far as materials go, this Gel Respector has been adorned with a premium leather and nubuck with perforations appearing on the side panels and toe.

Consisting of two tonal versions of the Asics Gel Lyte 5, the Rose Gold pack is centered around the Rose Gold hits placed on the branding of the shoes. . The Asics Gel Lyte 5s are constructed out of suede and leather uppers in either a black or beige motif. Adding to the premium feel of the shoes are the set of waxed laces that tie up the look together. A white midsole with a hint of speckles on the rear compliment the look of the upper rather nicely. The pack gets its name due to the Rose Gold hits placed on the branding which can be seen on the heel and side panels of the shoe.
