Build is very important for starting the game. With a good build you can play this game better. Any sort of champion should be pretty good all the way. You can start with sunder, transition into reave/bf later on. Good clear speed. Great single target and its safe as long as you dont use an Abyssus. Unless you have leet amount of

Those are the ones that come to my mind when i think about cheap and upgradable skills. Usually spells are cheaper and easier to scale to endgame. I don't play bows and wands too much, so i can't say more. Molten strike as i see, is the easier attack to scale to endgame, but the upgrades are kinda expensive and the clearspeed depends on whirling blades attack speed. No matter how expensive this equipment upgrade, as long as you choose cheap
