One on friends had recorded some videos using Panasonic HDC-SD900 as part of her research. She would like to insert the camcorder videos to Keynote on Mac for presentation. However, the resulting HD videos are in AVCHD .mts files which could not be imported to Keynote. With the 1080/60p recording mode, the videos play great on the SD900 camcorder, however, Mac is not compatible with this format, not even iMovie, Final Cut or others.

While looking for a solution to add recorded AVCHD videos to Keynote, UFUSoft AVCHD Converter for Mac is recommended as the partner to Panasonic SD900 for Keynote presentation. It helps easily creating a vivid slideshow presentation with HD videos by converting AVCHD video to HD MOV.

Below is the quick guide for you to embed AVCHD videos to a presentation created with Keynote. Here I am taking Panasonic HDC-SD900 camcorder 1080/60p MTS as an example.

Step 1. Load AVCHD videos to UFUSoft AVCHD Converter for Mac.

Step 2. Choose H.264 MOV output format.

Click the “Format” option, and choose HD Video > HD MOV Video(*.mov) as output format. We are choosing .mov format, as this is the Mac compatible file extension. You can keep the 60fps by clicking the “Settings” button and enter 60 for the frame rate option.

Step 3. Convert Panasonic SD900 MTS to MOV for Keynote on Mac.

After the conversion, drag the HD mov video into Keynote slide. It is easy for you to display videos on your training, research or business presentation.

Tips:

1. For most AVCHD camcorders like Sony HDR-CX350/CX550, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7, Canon HF200, Panasonic HDC-TM300, which record video in 1080i mode, you can also use this AVCHD Converter for Mac to convert 1080i MTS/M2TS to Keynote for presentation.

2.UFUSoft AVCHD Converter for Mac is also a Mac AVCHD/AVCHD Lite Converter/Player/Editor for Canon, Sony, Panasonic and JVC cameras. It’s specific on converting AVCHD/MTS/M2TS, AVCHD Lite MTS files to various video formats in sync and encoding them with preferred video codec for NLE programs on Mac, such as Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Final Cut Express, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Aperture 3, Pinnacle Studio, Kdenlive, Keynote, Avid Xpress Pro, Adobe Creative Suite 6, Adobe After Effects CS6/CC7, Sony Vegas Pro, DaVinci Resolve, iPhoto. And support ProRes 422, ProRes 4444, DNxHD, DVCPRO, Apple InterMediate codec, QuickTime MOV outputting with the best video quality interlaced or progressive. It’s also a smart assistant to well sync your footage to portable devices for playing back on iPad/iPhone/iPod, Android Devices like Samsung Galaxy, Nexus 7, Kindle Fire HD; well support Nokia Lumia, Apple TV and other HDTV videos outputting; and other devices like XBox One,ps4, etc.
