I was in love with a guy for 7 months later on my parents and his parents came to know about it and we broke up ,we dint have contact for another 8 months, now before 2 months , he contacted me through email and we started chatting daily .. one final day he told he has started chain smoking and drinking because he is depressed , when i asked him to stop he says he has addicted to it and asked me for 2 months time to leave it. Still i haven't patched up with him .. I am still keeping him wait , so i am confused if he is really into smoking and stuff or just telling it so that i am emotionally blackmailed and i accept him .. what should i do know??????

and in orkut i found him chatting to one of our comon friend and that guy was lyk come on one day near my coll...hot babes are around...and my bf said ya sure dude i wud be thr...i felt so bad when he had scraped this to him...

but dont let it bother u now, because he said he would stop in 2 months, so in 2 months when u check in on him or w.e if he was serious he said that he would stop
if he wasnt then u can just be like yea i knew u were kidding, duh

I think he told you to see what you would do, because most real addicts hide stuff like that or don't wave it around. I think what he really wants you to know is that he is depressed try talking with him about why and working on things together. Just let him know it is better to come out and talk about things not to have roundabout ways of finding out if you care, which u do. I wish u the best :)

u should wait and see if he is blackmailing u and u find that out he isnt worth it
and if he really is on it and its been 8 months since uve seen him...
alot couldve changed about him in 8 months..so the dynamic of the relationship will most likely have changed as well. that isn't to say it won't work...it may just be different
