Philadelphia Phillies Pat Neshek Jersey , April 2 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan police said Wednesday they have launched investigations in the assassination of radical Muslim cleric, Abubakar Sheriff alias Makaburi on Tuesday evening in Mombasa.
Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo also appealed to anyone with information regarding the 18:45 incident to come forward and inform the police or call 999 or 112 for possible arrest.
Kimaiyo said five persons were shot at and unfortunately two died on the spot by unknown assailants who escaped immediately escaped.
"Police officers responded swiftly and are currently in hot pursuit of the assailants while investigations have been launched to determine the motive of the attack and to effect the arrest of the persons involved in this heinous attack," he said in Nairobi.
