I recently had a P0304 error code and I believe the problem has been fixed. If I reset my Check Engine Light with my OBDII scanner will the light come back on if I still have the P0304 error (cylinder misfire)?

Thanks!

If you fixed the problem and reset the light then it will stay off.

If you didn't fix the problem and reset the light it will come back on letting you know you haven't fixed the problem

Yes, the malfuntion light will come back on if the problem persists. You fixed the problem, so I wouldn't expect another warning. Turning off the light with the OBD2 scanner clears the trouble code from the computer, but does not fix anything. Replacing bad parts or adjusting incorrect conditions will rid the cause for the warning light to come on.
