Steve Courson, one of the first NFL players to admit to using steroids, was killed yesterday whilst culling trees. The former Pittsburgh Steeler was crushed when the tree he had been cutting fell on him. The accident happened at Courson's home, where he was using a chainsaw to cut a dead tree. A local coroner investigation found "The wind was blowing, the tree snapped and it fell on him and his dog." Courson started with the Steelers in 1978 and was part of their 78 and 79 Super Bowl championship teams. He finished his career in 1985. In recent years he had become a strong advocate against drug use. Source: news.yahoo.com
