Doctors Appeal HIV 'Miracle Cure' Patient Doctors today urged Scotsman Andrew Stimpson to undergo extensive tests after he apparently shook off the HIV virus which he was diagnosed as having in August 2002 and has now been given the all-clear following blood tests. Stimpson, 25, told Sunday newspapers how felt special to have been “cured adding “I have no idea how I got rid of the virus. I was just taking daily supplements to keep myself as healthy as possible so as not to get full-blown Aids." NHS Trust officials said that Mr Stimpson has so far declined to undergo further tests with them while he claims doctors at the Victoria Clinic for Sexual Health in West London saw him as a “medical miracle for “curing himself.
