A man surfing in water 8 feet deep on Florida's east coast was bitten by a shark according local officials. The man, suffered puncture wounds on his right foot and was taken to a hospital by ambulance in a stable condition. ``This was a case of mistaken identity, Scott Petersohn, spokesman for the Volusia County Beach Patrol told reporters. ``The guy's foot dangling in the water looks a lot like a fish.' The incident is the second such confirmed shark bite off Florida's coast in less than a month, following an attack on a 15-year-old boy who suffered minor injuries when he stepped on a shark in October.
