Volkswagen AG, Audi AG and Porsche AG announced earlier this week that they will join together to develop a new hybrid engine. The announcement was made at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. More exact details on the partnership were not given, but the announcement comes just a week after BMW announced it would be developing a more fuel efficient hybrid engine in cooperation with General Motors and DaimlerChrysler.
