An Australian woman who was born deaf and blind is suing the doctor claiming that she should have never been born in the first place.Alexia Harriton, 24, was misdiagnosed with rubella and the mother claims she would have had an abortion if she knew. Alexia now is seeking financial support from the doctor in court.Lawyers for the woman say that Dr. Paul Stephens is liable for all the bills from a lifetime of medical treatment that she needs to survive. Alexia Harriton was born mentally retarded, spastic, deaf and blind, and needs constant care.This is also the first court case of its kind a Wrongful Life Suit. A high court is going to hand a verdict in this case in the next couple months. Source:
