A new report claims that nearly all of the cargo in the US aviation system goes unchecked for explosives while all domestic luggage is scanned for bombs. The Government Accountability Office has called for a study to track the steps in which cargo goes from shippers to the belly of an airplane following the conclusions of the report. Rep. Edward Markey told reporters air cargo "is an opening which al-Qaeda can exploit." Adding that all cargo should be inspected the TSA however claims the scheme would cost 3.6 billion over 10 years and could delay cargo shipments. Source: news.yahoo.com
