Locked Doors Stop Bush Avoiding Questions in Beijing US President George W. Bush was looking to make a hasty exit from a news conference at a Beijing public appearance only to be thwarted by locked doors. The President said "I was trying to escape. Obviously, it didn't work," after the locked door foiled his escape from a very quick follow-up question from one of the reporters present. When asked by reporters why he rushed through his statement and seemed a little “off his game� The President replied "Have you ever heard of jet lag, well. That answers your question."
