General Motors Corporation has announced that they have reduced the drag of the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe more than any other full-size SUV in the world. They used their state-of-the-art laboratory testing and computer-based tools to achieve their goals. Fuel economy has been greatly improved since aerodynamic drag attributes to roughly 20% of the energy consumed in an average vehicle. GM focused on Tahoe's underbody and mirrors and front and rear to reduce aerodynamic drag by 8% over the 2005 model. Source:
