Children in Switzerland have been asked not to sit in Santa's lap this year over concerns about pedophilia.Phone calls from concerned parents prompted the country's Society of St Nicholases to tell there members not to sit their kids on Santa's lap. In Switzerland it is customary for men to dress like "Samiklaus" and put the child on their knee and ask if they have been good or bad during the year. The society said it has taken steps to protect 100 St Nicholases on its books stating that they want to counteract people accusing any of its members of pedophilia. They said that they regreted having to take this measure but parents have become very aware of child abuse. Source:
