Midfielder and captain Roy Keane has officially left Manchester United, following an interview where Keane was so harsh and critical of his teammates that the club refused to broadcast it. That was two weeks ago. The interview in question was made with the club's in-house television station. It is believed that Keane singled out players for criticism. He also reportedly had a row with manager Alex Ferguson and was then stripped of his captaincy. Keane, who has been playing for Manchester United since 1993, said "Whilst it is a sad day for me to leave such a great club and manager, I believe that the time has now come for me to move on."
