32-year-old free agent Bobby Howry has signed a three-year deal with the Chicago Cubs, worth some US$12 million. The agreement was revealed yesterday by two sources close to the negotiations who spoke on condition of anonymity. Last week, Scott Eyre was signed to a three-year contract worth US$11 million. Both Eyre and Howry once pitched for the Chicago White Sox. Howry was with the White Sox between 1998 and 2002, when he was then traded to the Red Sox. Source: news.yahoo.com
