The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has given a crash test rating of 5 stars to the Honda Odyssey minivan, Tucson SUV, Mercedes-Benz ML Class SUV, Subaru B9 Tribeca SUV and Hyundai Sonata sedan. The top score in rollover protection went to the Pontiac G6 two-door coupe. One vehicle to receive two stars on side-impact protection for the driver was the Mitsubishi Lancer. Other vehicles that performed well included the 2006 Volkswagen Passat, Dodge Dakota, Chevrolet Impala, Nissan Armada and Ford Freestar. Source:
