The Transportation Security Administration has cleared the way to allow airline passengers to board planes with screwdrivers less than 7 inches and scissors less than 4 inches long. The final list of items hasn't been decided, however. Since 100% of checked baggage is now screened, cockpit doors have been reinforced, pilots are packing heat and federal air marshals are on planes, the TSA feels that another hijacked plane is unlikely. Officials are more concerned about explosives. "What we believe, as does the TSA, is that we should be focusing on what poses the greatest risk,� said Air Transport Association spokesman David Castelveter. Source:
