US tennis star Andre Agassi has announced that he may not play in the Australian Open next month as he'd planned, due to a sprained ankle that isn't healing. Agassi had been using his Open participation to deny retirement rumours. In a statement, Agassi said: "Australia has now become a concern, no question about it. Until this is better, I can't make any sure statements. Right now, I'm worried about my training. I have hope that the next week or two will be big, big gains." The injury occurred in October, while Agassi was playing racquetball for two weeks. He re-injured his ankle during the Masters Cup in November. Source: news.yahoo.com
