Last January SS Lazio star Paolo Di Canio was fined €10,000 for making stretched-arm fascist salute to the hard core Lazio fans (as reported on SN) . This weekend he used the same gesture once again. The incident took place during a game against Livorno, whose fraction of left wing fans are almost as known as Lazios counterpart right wing fans. Political chants and banners including a swastika helped raise the atmosphere of the game. The Italian soccer authorities are this year trying to battle violence and antisocial conduct at games.
