Ford has begun production of its first F-150 flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) that will run on gasoline or on ethanol blends up to E85, a mixture of 15 per cent gasoline and 85 percent ethanol. Ford says it is committed to producing 250,000 FFVs in the coming year. This fuel technology will be standard with Ford's 5.4-litre V8 engine and will feature the same torque and horsepower as an ordinary gasoline (petrol) engine. Source: http://www.canadiandriver.com
