"I look forward to showing my fans what my world is about and bringing more attention to my nonprofit organizations," said Nelly who runs the 4 Sho 4 Kids organization. Nelly signed a deal with A. Smith & Co. today to make a reality television series The program will feature Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes Jr, and will air next year. Nelly, 30, had hits with "Hot in Herre,"[sic] "My Place," and appeared in the film "The Longest Yard" earlier this year. Nelly recently devoted time to participate in campaigns for bone marrow donors after his sister Jackie died from Leukemia in March. A.
