The price of oil has dropped further below US$65 a barrel today following fears that continuous record prices are slowing global demand and worries about supplies in the world's top oil consumer, the United States. US light crude traded down by 26 cents in the early hours of this morning, following a decline of 34 cents yesterday. Prices of oil have increased by some 49% over the course of this year.
