After terrible sales and low profits General Motors Corporation will bring back deep discounts by reinstating its employee discounts for everyone deal. GM's U.S. sales dropped 26 percent in October after the last sale was discontinued. "We need something. It's horrendous right now." said the general manager of Dan Perkins Chevrolet. "All in all, it will be very good for the customer." GM said the employee discount plan would help liquidate 2005 models. "What you're going to see us continue to do is make sure you get pricing that's very simple, that makes it easy for the customer to understand the value inherent in the price and in the vehicle," said GM spokesman Tom Kowaleski.
