Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb has been placed on the team's injured reserves list yesterday, effectively ending his season early. He will undergo surgery for a sports hernia next week. According to Eagles coach Andy Reid, recovery time after the surgery is set at 8-10 weeks. The injury has plagued McNabb for most of the season. It is hopefully the last hurdle for the Eagles this season. The team recently suspended receiver Terrell Owens indefinitely for bad behaviour. [SN reported] Source: news.yahoo.com |
