Actor Pat Morita, who played Ralph Macchio's mentor Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid films has died at home aged 73. His wife Evelyn said that the actor died of natural causes at their Las Vegas home on Thursday. Morita was the son of Japanese immigrant fruit pickers, and with thousands of others sent to internment camps during World War II. He started his career in the popular TV series "Happy Days". Morita played the part of Mr Miyagi in all four Karate Kid films and also had parts in the films Honeymoon in Vegas, Spy Hard, and Even Cowgirls get the Blues. Source: news.bbc.co.uk
