News has come out of China, after several days of silence, that Chinese security forces shot and killed several protestors in Guangdong province on Tuesday. However exact numbers are not clear. The official statement claims three were killed, however locals claim that this should read 20. If 20 is the correct death toll, this is the worst use of deadly force by Chinese security troops since Tiananmen Square. An investigation has now begun. Source: news.bbc.co.uk
