The head of the Free Progressive Iraqi Party, Mizhar al-Dulaimi, has been shot and killed in Iraq, just two days before parliamentary elections in the country. Al-Dulaimi was campaigning in Ramadi, in the Anbar province. Last night, al-Dulaimi appeared on Iraqi television, urging citizens to head to the polls on Thursday. Sunnia Arabs generally boycotted January's elections for an interim governing assembly due to a lack of representation. Source: news.yahoo.com
