lildude: It costs money to apply, so i'm sure that's why she wants to narrow it to 8.
And I'm pretty sure she'll be accepted to at least some colleges out of eight.

just apply to all of them. That way, you have a better chance of getting into something. You cant have best fit if you havent gotten into anything yet.

Research student to teach ratio, then the amount of students that would be in your major. The less students there are in your major, the better for you if you want your professors to know you by name. I went to a huge school, then after two years went to an extremely small school---the difference was amazing. each has their benefits though. Sorry I am not help on selecting, but I have no experiences with any of these colleges :)

USC is great for business majors but you have to remain on campus or within a 2 mile radius, in order to be safe.

So, I am going to be applying to college in a few months and I've narrowed it down to ten so far, but I really want to narrow it down further, to 8. So, here is my question:

Looking at this list, which two colleges, looking at my preferences, would you recommend I ELIMINATE from my list, and which two or three colleges do you think would be the BEST fit for me?

Colleges:

Babson College

Boston University

Harding U

Northern Arizona U

Purdue U

Syracuse U

University of Pennsylvania

University of Southern California

Washington University in St. L.

Western New England College

Here is what I want it a college: a safe yet interesting area, friendly, open minded students, good weather, approachable teachers that know your name, a college with a good study abroad programs and a lot of opportunities. Also, a college with a good advertising, business: entrepreneurship programs.

Thank you soo much!

Please specify if you recommend I eliminate, or if I should keep said college on my list,

also it would be a big help if you told me why.

Thanks:)
