Question by ♥CJ♥: BEAUTY QUEENS: Any tips for someone interested in pageants?
I know I am really late in the game because I am in my early 20s but I still feel like I have a chance in the world of pageants. Since a child I have been in awe with Miss America, Miss USA and Miss Universe. Pretty much any pageant that reflects strong intelligent women who believe in great causes and have high morals. They represent the country and sure sometimes they dont do the best job but for the most part, I love what it represents! A smart girly girl with impact on the society we live in!

I think pageants would be a great way to build character and get me out of my shell. I have a lot to offer and it really could be a way to launch my non-profit organization. I am often told that I should try modeling and I guess I just thought I have just as good of a chance as anyone else right? I am college educated, classy and have high morals. I am very shy but I am willing to work on it! I want to get professional photos done for sure no matter what. Any tips for an aspiring beauty queen?
I know I will need a lot of money for my gowns, upkeep of my hair, nails, and make-up the right accesories. My mother even trained a girl for Miss Teen USA 89 and the girl got runner up. So I would love to have her coach me but I want her to take me serious if I do this. My years are running out because I think 26 or 27 is the CUT OFF. Any tips for getting sponsors and raising the money to pursue a lifelong dream or mine? Or is this too far-fetched?? Thanks no offensive answers please
Well unfortunately I am over 20 so I would not qualify for that contest. I wonder what state or city competitions are held for NJ?? I wish there was a website that had all the pageants that one could qualify for! Thanks for the links pageant girl!

National American Miss is a pageant you can do,as long as your not older than 20 as of January 1,2009.
