Question by Ama Jean: How many music videos will 4 gigs take?
I’m thinking of buying a new sansa mp3 and I’m mostly likely to store music videos on it, and some songs. Now I know 4 gigs hold up to 1000 songs. DO you know how many videos I can put? music videos are from 3-4 minutes. Please someone tell me before I buy it. I can’t afford 8 gig. 4 gig is my limit.

You can say most music videos are about 40-80 MB, depending on the compression. So, to be conservative, Probably about 400. Most likely more, but again, it depends on how much you compress them, the length, etc.

A music video file is usually from 50-100 megabytes. So anywhere from 40-80 music videos.

If depends on the quality of videos…. if low you could easily get a 1000 on it… if you are wanted higher quality then it’d be less.

You could work it out if you know the size of the videos you were going to put on.
