Try not to become too emotionally involved in your position in the debate. The bad news is youve taken the difficult side of the debate. There is a reason that you are having difficulty finding supporting talking points. Im not certain how current you are requiring your information to be but the data is fairly consistent statistically speaking. The beginning driver the teenager would naturally have less experience at driving and have an innate desire to test the limits of the machine that they have recently been allowed to learn to operate. With that caveat in mind I have included some places that monitor the statistics of teenage drivers These would be the people that pay out money when there are accidents the insurance companies. Police departments collect the information in their reports and it is then amassed into statistical information.

The research supports the opposite position … and its right The new stricter laws on teen drivers will probably keep more teens alive so that they reach adulthood.

I understand your anger … you need to find something that might not exist. Any chance you can switch sides on the argument?

Maybe attack the situation from another direction … good teen drivers that experience major problems because of the new laws difficulty finding/keeping jobs unable to drive home after sport events or other after school activities etc. Maybe an argument that these restrictions actually make it harder on the parents of the teen driver teen driver not available to drive younger family members etc.

You picked a rough subject and the tough angle to support Good luck
