Well, you won’t have them when you grow into an adult.

Yes, there is one good thing.. If people make fun of your acne, then at least they aren’t making fun of an ugly face. Many people who have struggled with terrible acne are now blossomed & beautiful. Take Keira Knightley for example; one of Hollywoods most beautiful actresses & she still suffers from acne. I could name a lot more, but, I think you’ve got the picture. Its really not that big of a deal.

I had the same thing. There are positive things about it. I suppose one of them would be that it makes you tend to read more and try to do better in school.

I have a recipe for an acne wash that works very well for me. In fact, it worked better than accutane.

Boil some enteric coated aspirin, a some vinegar, and water in a double boiler. Mix it up, and let the mixture sit until the aspirin mix is boiling. Let the mixture boil until almost nothing is left but solids. Then, take the mix off of the double boiler, letting it cool slowly. The mix should solidify, leaving a small amount of cloudy water to drain off. Add this drained, solid mix to Neutrogena oil free body wash as a base. Make a mix of about 50% aspirin and 50% neutrogena wash. Wash your face with this mix daily. You should notice your skin start to get better rapidly.

I used accutane, but nothing I have tried has worked as well as this simple preparation.

There is no positive thing about acne!! I had terrible problems with it when I was a teenager also. And don’t feel you’re alone. There are alot of young and older people who still suffer with it.

Have you ever tried the ProActive solutions. My daughter uses it and it really has helped her completion. Or check with a dermatologist. They can give you something also. If you can’t afford these then just be sure to cleanse your skin gently a couple times a day. No harsh soaps and lotions. Keep you hands and hair off your face as much as possible. This can contribute to breakouts.

And don’t ever pick at your blemishes. This could cause infections and scars and you don’t want to add that on to the problem.

    Gook Luck!

I am sorry! Just know you are not alone. We have all been there. Some adults are even still there. Treating it and taking care of it NOW should help you in a few years though! Start healthy skin habits now (washing, scrubs, drinking water ect). Then when your hormones aren’t so out of wack as a teenager, you will have already developed healthy skin habits and it will show! :o)
