I am starting adderall for sever ADHD but i have been told it makes you lose weight too. I am 5’11 and weigh about 150 pounds. I have hypothyroidism so I have lots of trouble losing weight but and wondering if anyone has had weight loss problems with adderall or how much weight can I be expected to lose? I am not in this to lose weight so don’t think I am abusing the drug I just want to know what I should expect with this drug.

Often times adderall surpresses appetite. Therefore, yes its likey you’ll lose weight if you take it over a long period of time. Weight loss ranges from person to person.
