I’m just a local rapper that wants to make music videos with my music. I’m only 17 so money is sort of tight. I just need a good quality worth HD video camera for cheap.

Was taking pictures of this fine looking old church in Inglewood when a fellow came up the sidewalk and introduced himself as Pastor Ed. He asked if I’d like to see inside so I said sure. The inside was even better than the outside. The Rose stain glass window especially was quite fabulous. Pastor Ed said this stain glass window was made back in 1917 by a man just before he went off to World War I. He came back from the war but had lost his sight due to a war injury. All these years later the beauty of his creation lives on.

Then I asked about the pipe organ and Pastor Ed told me to come up on the stage and he opened a door and told me to climb in behind the pipes and look up. So I did and you could see charred boards above the pipes. There had been a fire back in the 1920’s. Then Pastor Ed told me to check out the pipes close up from the front. He said the church couldn’t afford to replace the pipe organ after the fire so they put in fake pipes until they could afford a new organ and they never did. Now comes the really cool part of the story the curves on the pipes are the tips of Cross Country Skis that were used as molds.

Wow this was so cool. Thanks Pastor Ed for the hospitality of showing me around the sanctuary and telling me some of the history!
