My cousin us getting tons of views by posting videos of an anime show on his channel. I’ve heard people say to promote them by commenting on other videos but that just leaves you with hate comments.

Answer by The Wolf Commenting om other channels is a good way to get people to your channel as it provides a link to it. But saying something like “Come watch my channel” comes across as spam which people get pissed off at. Instead comment about their video, say something funny about it, or what you don’t like about it.
If you’re also not doing well for views check your keywords, you might need to fix them to make it easier for you’re videos to be found. Also add a detailed description as these help search engines rank your video in search results.
