I just bought the new Tylor Swift cd and my DVD player isnt recognizing the music videos, just the music.
How do i play the videos?

It is always a privilege to work with someone whose work exemplifies creativity, dedication, and good old-fashioned know how. Sometime back I was watching my grandson, who by the way lives in another city, tooling around the Kids Page at hcpl.net. As I investigated the site it hit me that our kid s page is really a treat! I couldn t let this year go by without complimenting Kathleen Green for her hard work and dedication as the Assistant Librarian for Children’s Services HCPL eBranch.
Kathleen s innovative and creative contribution to our website is apparent when you view the Kids Newsletter that debuted in June 2006 and the Teen Newsletter that debuted in July 2006. Last summer s Children s and Teen Summer Reading Programs provided an opportunity where children with no means of attending summer reading at one of our branch libraries could still participate in a summer reading program.
I am always amazed at what a team player Kathleen can be. She is a dedicated contributor to any project or committee she works with. And many of us at Admin can attest to the fact that Kathleen is always willing to step in when needed for editing other staff projects, helping with refreshments and decorations for meetings and trainings, and even opening the building when she receives that last minute request.
Her work with Monique Franklin on creating the Teen Online BookClub is a perfect example of her teamwork ethic. Another great example is her work with this year s Variety Show Committee.
Kathleen s work requires constant updates, attention to detail and knowledge of what is current in children s literature and programming. A visit to our website proves that Kathleen is ahead of the game in keeping reading lists
current and up-to-date.
I recently had the opportunity to observe Kathleen as she assisted a fellow staff member with a problem. She patiently assisted the staff member in a manner that encouraged and lead the staff member to feel confident in their ability to complete their project. Kathleen has shown the same ability in assisting customers with database problems and when assisting customers with Chat Reference, account problems, and readers advisory. She is a true leader by example and dedication.
Kathleen truly sets an example for fellow staff and I am happy to nominate her for HCPL s Shining Star Award.
